Book & Paper Conservation Services


Leaf by Leaf staff conducts workshops and training sessions for library and archival staff, either "hands-on" or lecture format. They also offer individual instruction in specialized areas. Following are some of the topics covered by the workshops:
  • custom housing for archival materials
  • recasing the hardbound book
  • leather craft bookbinding
  • books, boxes & portfolios
  • gold finishing
  • introduction to book preservation
  • paper marbling
